She comes off as very indifferent about the H, yet the second he shows up she suddenly throws all her inhibitions out of the window and is in bed with him within 2 days! I mean, seriously?! Even then, the h is someone who is told that it's her job to keep this guy out of trouble for the week before he gets knighted. Right away there is virtually no real connection with the couple other then something potentially sexual. I am literally the lone wolf on thinking this story was Lame-o! I really enjoyed reading My Wedding Knight as it is nice written story with good characters and a lot of wit and laughter, along with more than a little heart. Unfortunately this guy is about to meet his match in Abby as she definitely shows her displeasure towards his antics and makes him work for it, and therefore she is a challenge for him as she throws him completely off his game. Plus the tabloids are all over this 30 year old man-child who has too much money, too much fame, too many girls throwing themselves at him and too many people excusing his behavior as long as he keeps winning championships for his team and Britain. She just has to keep him out of the tabloids and have him show up to all the press events for the next several days until the ceremony.Ībby has no hope is hell of wrangling Rory in, especially since the Sunday before he woke up as a male sandwich after having more than a fun Saturday night with 2 birds. You just fall in love with the quintessential upstanding British good girl who has to 'mansit' a bad boy footballer (soccer god) who is about to get a KBE, Knighted so you have to call him Sir.

My Wedding Knight is another great short story in The Wedding Season series. What can go wrong when a bad boy footballer gets Knighted? Can anyone say Tabloids!!
